The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Today at school their was a bomb threat. The fith one this year. Someone wrote something in the girls bathroom. I was walking to third period when we went on code red lock down. Once we got to our class it was anounced that the high school was to be evacuated.



As we crossed the parking lot to the middle school I wraped my trench around my girlfriend to protect her from the cold and hoped that I wouldn't have to take a bullet for her today. While we were locked in a middle school class room we had no idea what went on outside or in the halls. I saw the fear in my Math teachers eyes as he despratly waited for information or orders. I wondered if I would be around to tell my boyfriend what happened today.



They searched our school; nothing was there. Eventually we were sent back. Our towns Chief of Police made an anouncement that their would be no bookbags, mp3s, or purses for the remaning ten days of school.



It upsets me to know that these ignorant children can't see how lucky they are. I am supprized that they are in an uproar over the new rules. And I am pissed to know that while they are worried about where to carry their makeup and tampons; I am worried about an armed psycho finding my class and me risking my life to try and talk him out of harming this room full of strangers.



Whoever wrote the threat is most likely young, naive, and stupid. All they really wanted, I imagine, was to get out of class.



Human lives are more than that. I am more than that. Today I had to face the fact that no matter how hard I try, no matter how hard I work, to achive my goals and be a good person; somone else wants to fuck with me. I step over ants on the sidewalk, but this person deserves less than that. I hope that they realize the error of their ways; their's nothing more to ask for.
